Pashek Associates provided design, construction document preparation, and construction observation services to Allegheny County for the Boyce Park Snow Tube Park , and Beginner Ski Area renovations.  Improvements to the Boyce Park Winter Recreation Facility included:

Snow Tube Area

•  760 feet long, lighted, snow tube run with 85' of vertical elevation change 
• six automated tower mounted and one portable snow makers
• 410 feet long Magic Carpet Conveyor 300 snow tubes 
• Tube storage area
• Water supply system renovations  

Beginner Ski Slope

• 440 feet long Magic Carpet Conveyor

The design process began with an evaluation of the winter recreation area to locate a site suitable to accommodate the new snow tube facility.  Followed by researching ski lifts and conveyor systems to determine which style would best meet the needs of the park's visitors.
